Half term Medieval GamingTime: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
We have a new carved table of medieval games to play so why not come and join us over half term at the Sandwich Medieval Centre, 11am-3pm each day on Saturday 18th February and Sunday 19th February.
Come and play a variety of medieval board games such as Three, Five and Nine Men’s Morris, Fox and Geese, Alquerque, Horseshoe, Madelinette and Seega and get to enter a free prize draw.
Suitable for all ages though children should be accompanied by adults. All activities are free but donations are always welcome.
The Sandwich Medieval Centre is an educational trust helping to keep alive a variety of crafts from the Middle Ages including blacksmithing, bread making, illuminated lettering, calligraphy, corn dolly making, weaving and much more. We have many events throughout the year and our volunteers are always happy to answer any questions you have and to guide you through our exhibitions and activities. Our major project is the reconstruction of a seaworthy Cog called the Nicholas, a medieval type of ship which is moored on Sandwich Quayside just outside the centre.
